Sea Food Melt

Cooking instructions

 

 

Please remember this is a "melt" with delicate seafood that has been selected from the best suppliers and handled with extreme care to bring you the highest quality available.  If you cook it too long or too hot it will be dry and tasteless! 

We highly recommend that you defrost the melt before cooking.  This can be done in the refrigerator or, if in a hurry, a microwave.  If you use a microwave do not get the melt too hot.  One or two minutes in most microwaves will soften the cheese.   Unwrap the melt first and then microwave and watch it closely.  When the cheese is soft in the middle it is ready to bake. 

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Place the melt near the center of the oven.  A rack that allows the heat to the bottom of the flat bread is best but a pizza stone or cookie sheet will work. 

When the cheese is hot and melted in the center it is done!  It may get a little brown around the edges but DO NOT try to brown the cheese!  Just melt it!  This takes about 10 minutes in most ovens.

Remove from the oven and ENJOY!
